Spectrum Service Down In Central Florida

Spectrum continues to be plagued by an internet outage in central Florida.

Complaints continued to come in on Tuesday -- over 60% of them related to internet and related services. Another 22% were over TV service, and 15% reported a general blackout, Down Detector reports.

“Internet--- the WiFi you are connected to is not connected to the internet. It was a typically overnight problem that has steadily worsened. It is to the point that the internet to be working is a rarity,” says one user in a post on downdetector.

It is not yet clear how -- or if -- email service has been affected.

According to WFTV, the company tweeted today that video issues had been resolved. However, the outages are also affecting other areas of the country.

“My internet is down! Not sure how long, it worked around 5pm yesterday, but this morning nothing. I live in West Hollywood, CA (Los Angeles),” writes one user in a post dated Tuesday morning.

“No internet in Columbus, OH,” writes another around the same time.

This apparently follows a storm.

On Monday, Spectrum tweeted: “Central Florida customers, we are still working on restoring video services as quickly as possible. We appreciate your continued patience.”
