GM 'Hits Pause' On Book By Cadillac Subscription Service

The Book by Cadillac subscription car service will shut down by the end of the year, people briefed on the plan told MarketWatch. Subscribers paying $1,8000 a month for access to Cadillac’s model lineup will have 30 days from the time they are notified to turn in their vehicles. A GM spokesman confirmed the service was ending, but said it could restart later. “We are hitting the pause button for a brief time to make some tweaks,” the spokesman said.
