The Book by Cadillac subscription car service will shut down by the end of the year, people briefed on the plan told
MarketWatch. Subscribers paying $1,8000 a month for access to
Cadillac’s model lineup will have 30 days from the time they are notified to turn in their vehicles. A GM spokesman confirmed the service was ending, but said it could restart later. “We
are hitting the pause button for a brief time to make some tweaks,” the spokesman said.
