Active lifestyle brand Outside has announced a future addition to its stable of international editions.
A digital version of Outside France will launch in mid-February 2019, with the print version landing sometime in 2020. The publication will join Outside Chile, Outside Sweden, Outside China and Go Outside Brazil as the brand expands its global reach.
Heading the title will be Sylvie Sanabria, who has been named editor, while Thibault Ginies, previously marketing manager for The North Face in France, an American outdoor product company, will manage the business side.
Outside claims the magazine is the first of its kind in France.
Anne Mollo-Christensen, executive vice president-Chief Digital and Strategy Officer of Outside, says Ginies and Sanabria saw the need for an outdoor media source and “reached out to us with a dynamic plan to collaborate.”
Outside debuted in 1977.
