TV personalities, including Eamonn Holmes and Louis Theroux, have had their Twitter accounts hacked by a security company that claims it has been trying to get the social media giant to fix a flaw.
The
BBC reports the company claims it felt that a demonstration of how easy it is to post on accounts a user does not control was needed because it was not being listened to.
