MessageGears, an enterprise email service provider, has named Arthur Sweetser as senior vice president of strategic accounts.
The hire will accelerate the firm’s expansion of its enterprise sales efforts, MessageGears says.
In addition, Walter Rowland, senior vice president of growth, will add agency and technology partner network expansion to his ABM and sales development responsibilities. He joined MessageGears in 2017.
In his prior post, Sweetser led sales and marketing for eDataSource, an email deliverability and analytics firm.
Sweetser has also served as chief marketing officer and chief operating officer at e-Dialog, working with such clients as like Discover, Bed Bath & Beyond and American Airlines. And he has held the title of CMO of software provider 89 Degrees.
He also is co-author of the 2009 book Successful Email Marketing Strategies.
