Super Agents Pitch Reebok, Other Product Placements Of the Week

Detroit Lions rookie Shaun Cody is known for his ability to tackle players on the gridiron. During the Aug. 5 episode of Spike TV's "Super Agent," he needed his skills to outmaneuver the negotiating skills of sports agents pitching the defensive lineman to endorse Reebok. When a family obligation conflicted with the pitch meeting, one of the agents had to decide what was really more important.

That's just one of the featured product placements of the past week brought to you by MediaDailyNews and branded entertainment researcher iTVX.

Other notable placements include the following:

On the eve of Monk's anniversary, Monk and Natalie visited the wine country inn where he and Trudy spent their honeymoon. He was interrupted when a stranger, wearing an abundance of Aqua Velva, decided to sit with him. The next day the stranger had mysteriously disappeared and only Monk could solve the case in the August 5 installment of USA's "Monk." Dads had the daunting task of shopping for their kids at J.C. Penney in the August 9 episode of NBC's "Meet Mr. Mom." Pauly took time out from renovating a San Diego condo for some lunch at Hooters, where the waitresses gave him some much needed advice in the August 7 installment of TBS' "Minding the Store."

In preparation for her Toys for Tots benefit, Kathy Griffin, her husband, and mother-in-law took a trip to Costco to stock up on some essentials. It got a little hairy when a customer tried to swoop in on Kathy's free samples in the August 10 episode of Bravo's "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List."
