Return Path has upgraded its Partner Platform to provide email service providers with new capabilities, including access to Cloudmark filtering data.
ESPs can use the platform to monitor deliverability across their client ecosystem, the company says. They can also integrate all monitoring and diagnostic information in one location.
Return Path’s Partner Platform was launched last year. The current release includes new data sources and metrics.
The arrangement with Cloudmark, a division of Proofpoint, is an expansion of an existing relationship. Cloudmark provides messaging security services.
“For years, we’ve worked together with Cloudmark to fight spam and ensure that legitimate senders are able to reach the inbox,” states Alex Rubin, Return Path’s vice president of business development
Rubin adds that Return Path hopes to build on the collaboration.
According to Return Path, the new arrangement enables ESPs to determine the most pressing issues in the dashboard and receive customized email alerts to help prioritize those problems; gain access to spam trap, volume and complaint data via Return Path’s Provider Network; and have access to data from ThreatWave, showing indicators of list acquisition and hygiene issues,
The company says that by combining Return Path’s deliverability data with Cloudmark’s filtering data, ESPs can understand which clients and campaigns are being filtered by Cloudmark.
