LiveRamp Acquires Faktor, Consent Management Platform

LiveRamp, an identity company, has acquired Faktor, a consent management specialist. Terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition will enable LiveRamp to further help clients comply with regulations such as the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, the company says.

Faktor allows consumers to manage how their data is used, it adds.

“With the acquisition of Faktor, we hope to send a powerful message to our customers, partners and the industry: that everyone should be informed and have control over how their data is used,” states LiveRamp CEO, Scott Howe.

LiveRamp’s identity platform will be integrated with Faktor’s offerings, and will allow clients to manage consent and maintain transparency in the coming quarters, the firm says.

It adds that brands can leverage the integrated platform and cross-device privacy controls as a value-add for customers.
