The Amazon Go convenience store uses sensors that grab payment information from cell phones, allowing shoppers to move swiftly in and out without having to wait on lines. There are 10 stores in
California, Chicago and Washington, D.C., with plans to open as many as 3,000. But some legislators have opposed the trend, arguing that it is elitist and discriminates against people who may not have
bank accounts or credit cards.
