Netflix just released the second
season of the docuseries “Quarterback.” To promote the show, the Martin Agency produced the parody “Armchair
Quarterback.”
“Saturday Night Live” alum Christopher Warner directed the short sketch.
Former NFL star Peyton Manning kicks back with a rabid fan as he imitates
coordination tips from the pros — without leaving his chair. NFL quarterbacks Joe Burrow, Kirk Cousins and Jared Goff are also featured in the humorous spot.
Todd Allen, senior vice
president, marketing for Bud Light at Anheuser-Busch, said: “Releasing ‘Armchair Quarterback’ alongside the new season is our way of celebrating the passionate fans who go to great
lengths for their teams and for Bud Light all season long.”

The commercial also marks Bud Light’s fifth campaign with Peyton Manning and his Omaha Productions, underscoring its
focus on branded entertainment.
Manning added: “ ‘Quarterback’ gives fans a glimpse into the preparation, habits and mindset of some of the top quarterbacks in the league. That said, the dedication and passion from NFL fans is unmatched. They really go all in to support their team each week, and this new Bud
Light content captures that spirit.”
The Martin Agency's client work also includes Geico and Chobani.
Bud Light is the official beer sponsor of the NFL.
