Agnes Chapski Named 'InStyle' Publisher

Meredith’s fashion magazine InStylehas a new publisher: Agnes Chapski.

Chapski was formerly president of Sandow’s beauty-focused brand NewBeauty and beauty solutions company Beauty Engine, where she led a network of multiplatform businesses.

Chapski previously spent 18 years at Condé Nast, with the last nine years as publisher and Chief Revenue Officer of Allure, as well as associate publisher of Vanity Fair and Lucky.

"InStyle ignites the desire to shop and is uniquely positioned as a must-buy for marketers looking for proven solutions and access that drive results,” stated Chapski.

Her new role is effective immediately. She reports to Doug Olson, president of Meredith Magazines.

Chapski succeeds Laura Frerer-Schmidt. According to the New York Post, which first reported the news, Chapski is the sixth publisher InStyle has had in four years.

Frerer-Schmidt spent less than a year as publisher. A Meredith spokesperson said she left the company to pursue other interests.

InStyle claims to reach 30 million consumers across print, online, digital and social media and live events.
