LoopMe, the AI and data centric advertising platform, announced former
BuzzFeed Media president Greg Coleman is its new board chairman.
According to the company, Coleman’s
experience scaling advertising businesses and working with data-driven advertising and performance attribution and his knowledge of the advertising ecosystem were key elements in his hire.
In
his new role, Coleman will help LoopMe identify client opportunities and help develop the platform’s offerings, a company spokesperson told Publishers Daily.
Previously, he was
named president of BuzzFeed in 2014, but exited the company when it laid off 100 employees in 2017, becoming a senior advisor. He also held the position of president at HuffPost and
Criteo. At HuffPost, Coleman expanded the business leading to its sale to AOL. His tenure at Criteo involved the overseeing of the company’s $1.69 billion IPO.
From
2001-2007, Coleman led global sales for Yahoo, growing business to $6 billion worldwide.

“Brands are demanding more from their marketing in terms of results, attribution and ROI,
and LoopMe’s outcome-based technology offers a long-term solution,” he stated.
Coleman’s appointment follows LoopMe’s Series B funding round of $17 million. The round
was led by BGF and the company’s total investment is now $32 million.
LoopMe’s clients include Microsoft, Western Union, Twining’s, Audi and Samsung.
