Domino and Refinery29 are partnering with CB2 for a seasonal, in-store event series.
Consumers can engage with interactive panels featuring design experts, as well as DIY workshops.
The series kicked off May 15 at CB2’s flagship SoHo store.
It will run at CB2’s 18 stores nationwide throughout the year. Each event is centered around a theme curated by Domino to correlate with CB2's seasonal collection.
"Creating engaging touch points with our customers is key to our business,” said Samie Barr, vice president of marketing, CB2.
CB2 is a longtime partner for Domino, noted Tracy Cho, Domino's general manager.
“We wanted to present a first-time partnership opportunity with R29 that leveraged each of our brand's strengths in terms of programming and promotion that happens to share a mission to bring style into people's lives,” Cho told Publishers Daily.
The three-part event series began with the theme “Let’s Leisure,” highlighting CB2’s “Outdoor” collection. The event offered tips and inspiration for outdoor entertaining, featuring CB2’s outdoor furniture and accessories collection for the summer.
The first event in SoHo was hosted by Ryan Turf, CB2 president; Jessica Romm Perez, editor-in-chief of Domino; and Christene Barberich, cofounder-global editor-in-chief at Refinery29.
The next events will be timed to CB2's fall and spring collections.

Barberich said the partnership with CB2 and Domino brings together “two powerhouse brands that have become the cornerstone of how we express and experience modern home design today.”
The event series serves to bring all three brands’ communities together to “inspire visitors to discover some fresh ideas, as well as have the chance to see their own style in new ways,” she added.
Attendees at additional CB2 store locations interact with Domino and Refinery29 trend and design experts, as well as a CB2 stylist.
