In a bid to help organizations create, focus and/or reimagine their social-issue strategies, The Ad Council has launched a new consultancy called Ad Council Edge.
The new unit will advise nonprofits, foundations and corporations on areas including research, strategy development and training.
“We’re taking what we do best and sharing our many decades of experience with partners that are equally invested in making the world a better place,” stated Lisa Sherman, President-CEO of the Ad Council.
Consultant and cause-engagement specialist Derrick Feldmann has been tapped to run the new operation as managing director. Feldmann is a member of the Ad Council’s advisory board.
Current consultancy projects include building marketing strategies for issues such as voting and civic engagement with a number of undisclosed foundations and nonprofits.
