Tribune Publishing Taps Randy Novak To Lead National Sales

Randy Novak is Tribune Publishing Company's new vice president of national sales.

“Our national sales team will focus on delivering data-driven solutions, designed to meet the unique needs of each client partner, ensuring maximum results,” Novak stated.

Novak has worked in many media roles on both the client and agency sides during his 20 years of advertising experience. Most recently, he was vice president, business development at NSA Media. He oversaw all aspects of business growth and marketing. 

Prior to that role, Novak worked at GateHouse Media, leading national advertising for a group of suburban community newspapers. He also worked within the Chicago media market managing marketing strategy.

Knight, CEO-President, Tribune Publishing. Knight cited Novak’s experience and skills as “vital assets in leading sales efforts for national clients and agencies, complementing the important work of our local and digital indirect sales teams.”

Tribune Publishing is home to local media businesses in eight markets. Titles include Chicago TribuneNew York Daily NewsThe Baltimore SunOrlando Sentinel and Virginia’s Daily Press, among others.

The company also operates the Tribune Content Agency and The Daily Meal. Last month, Tribune Content Agency signed a deal to syndicate cannabis publication The Fresh Toast to more than 600 media and digital information publishers.
