Amazon and Walmart are once again considering buying on-demand grocery delivery platform FreshDirect -- the second or third time they've mulled coming to the food delivery party, according to reports

Chain Store Age. The company is on the block following its 2018 move to the Bronx, where it "has been losing customers due to late and incomplete deliveries caused by difficulties
integrating the technology at the distribution center with its front-end e-commerce software."
