Uber
plans to add e-mopeds to its ride-sharing fleet, adding the service into the Uber app in Paris next month.
In a partnership with French startup Cityscoot, Uber is offering e-mopeds for the
first time anywhere in the world, according to a blog post by Uber.
“We see it as another step towards our goal to become a one-stop shop for all transportation needs,” stated
Uber.
With the Cityscoot option in the Uber app, consumers can locate and book one of 4,000 available e-mopeds for 29 cents per minute, automatically charged via the Uber app.
