Complex Networks and publisher-focused commerce platform Bonsai have launched Complex Shop, a new hub that combines an ecommerce destination with shoppable ads and articles on fashion, streetwear, art and design.
Complex Shop will serve as a new revenue stream for the pop-culture and lifestyle brand, as well as provide a home for Complex-curated items for readers.
“We’ve been laser-focused on continuing the diversification of our revenue streams, all of which have our strong brands and premium content at their core,” stated Christian Baesler, president of Complex Networks.
He added: “Given our authority in the sneakers, streetwear, art and design space, expanding our commerce presence is one of our biggest growth opportunities.”
Complex curates the products and manages the storefront, while Bonsai's network of brands and retailers will ship directly to readers.
Complex and Bonsai will receive a revenue share from merchants on products sold, while Complex owns the customer data.

Complex Networks’ digital channels include Complex, First We Feast, Pigeons & Planes and Sole Collector, among others.
