Playable, a specialist in video email marketing, has formed an API integration with Shutterstock Inc. to make millions of royalty-free stock videos available for use in email campaigns.
The arrangement will help brands “improve the engagement and impact of those campaigns by adding and customizing video content from Shutterstock's community of over 1 million contributors,” states Playable CEO Bob Hitching.
According to Playable, firms can search, license and edit video content through the Playable platform.
Videos can be added to email campaigns delivered via Mailchimp, Salesforce, Oracle, Adobe, Campaign Monitor, and other providers, the firm says.
Playable contends that videos boost email click-through rates and downstream engagement.
