Viewership of the Democratic debate aired by CNN and
Univision Sunday night -- the first to feature only two candidates and the first to have no live studio audience -- fell 28% from from the last debate Feb. 25 in North Carolina and 40.2% from the Feb.
19 debate in Nevada, the highest rated to date.
Sunday night's debate, however, was nearl double the TV audience of the first
two debates in Iowa and New Hampshire when there was a much wider field of candidates.
Sunday night's viewer interest no doubt was piqued by questioning and answers concerning the Coronavirus national health emergency.
