Due to work schedule changes caused by COVID-19, Google has decided to postpone the new releases of the updated Chrome and Chrome OS.
The company announced that it is “pausing” the releases due to adjusted work schedules.
“Our primary objectives are to insure they continue to be stable, secure and work reliably for anyone who depends on them,” Google stated in a blog post. “We’ll continue to prioritize any updates related to security, which will be included in Chrome 80.”
A new schedule date for the releases was not provided.
