
In what it claims is an industry first, an interactive outdoor media
company is offering a click-through rate guarantee to advertisers and agencies that buy its platform.
The company, Do It Outdoors (DIO), is offering the guarantee on integrated ad campaigns
using ads delivered to mobile devices that are within 200 meters of a mobile billboard (see graphic).
Utilizing a technology known ad "shadowfencing" that combines a GPS-integrated
geofence that serves display ads programmatically to mobile devices, DIO says the ads are served continuously for five minutes to devices that are located in the trail of its mobile billboard
drives.
