Time Out has long been a media
brand advising where to go and what to do. Now, Time Out Group, parent company of Time Out Media and Time Out Market, will collaborate with Apple Maps Guides to expand the scope of its
recommendations.
Via the partnership, Time Out Group will provide curated content through a new feature coming to iPhone, iPad and Mac later this year. The content from Time Out is
expected to launch in the fall.
Users can expect to find content about food, drink, culture and travel in 328 cities across 58 countries in the form of Time Out custom collections. The
content will be written by editors.
"For over 50 years, Time Out has enabled our audience to experience the best of their city,” Time Out Group Chief Marketing Officer, Sumindi
Peiris, stated. “As cities reopen and people hope to go out again, we look forward to helping them navigate and explore the new cultural landscape in this phygital era."
