The Ad Council is tapping new members to the group’s Advisory Committee on public Issues,

Shamina Singh, Founder & President of the Center for Inclusive Growth and executive vice president of Sustainability at Mastercard, has been tapped as co-chair for a two-year term. Journalist Soledad O’Brien served as the previous co-chairperson.

Singh is joined by several new Advisory Committee members selected because they bring a diverse set of backgrounds in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. These members include  Cecilia Arradaza, executive director of strategy, Wondros; Debby Bielak, partner, The Bridgespan Group; and Avo Makdessian, vice president, strategic initiatives and partnerships, Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
