AWeber is offering a free pricing plan for small businesses to help them use email as they cope with the COVID-19 crisis. 

The new program, AWeber Free, will provide email capabilities at no cost for up to 500 subscribers, and there is no time restriction, the company says. 

“Small businesses are facing real challenges in today’s world,” states Tom Kulzer, founder & CEO of AWeber. 

Kulzer adds that AWeber hopes to “give small business owners the ability to overcome these obstacles by helping them connect with their audiences via email marketing, free of charge,” Kulzer says.

The free service includes access to AWeber’s email automation and content creation tools. 

In addition, AWeber Free allows unlimited users per account within a company, and migration services from other email marketing tools. Also, SMBs can utilize AWeber’s integration library. 

The company cites figures from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, showing that 71% of small business owners are concerned about financial hardships due to prolonged closures, and 67% are concerned about low business demand.
