Mailchimp Allocates $1M For Developer Integration Fund

Mailchimp has budgeted $1 million to help developers build for the Mailchimp platform.

The firm’s new Integration Fund is designed to help developers affected by furloughs or job loss caused by COViD-19.

Developers accepted in the program will be paid to build new integrations with the Mailchimp platform, the company says.

In addition, thanks in part to its recent acquisition of Reaction Commerce acquisition, Mailchimp has improved Mailchimp Developer, its digital home for developers.

In other news, Mailchimp has enhanced Transactional Email, the email delivery service previously known as Mandrill, after five years in maintenance mode.
