Bustle Digital Group has hired Kathy Lee as editorial director for
women's style site
The Zoe Report. Lee was previously accessories director at Hearst’s Fashion Group, where she styled content across brands.
In her
new role, Lee will oversee The Zoe Report’s editorial operations, content development and brand experiences, beginning August 24.
Lee succeeds Lauren Caruso, who
left the position earlier this year.
In a statement, Lee said: “There is a tremendous opportunity to expand [Zoe Report’s] outlook and coverage to fully reflect and
celebrate our colorful mosaic of society."
Lee will report to Emma Rosenblum, editor in chief of BDG’s lifestyle portfolio of brands, which includes The Zoe Report, Bustle,
Elite Daily and Romper.

adding she is “excited to watch Kathy evolve The Zoe Report for a new generation.”
Previously, Lee led the accessory and jewelry department for Cosmopolitan
under former longtime editor Joanna Coles. She has also held roles at Town & Country, Seventeen and W Magazine.
