As if the cruise ship industry doesn’t have enough to deal with due to the pandemic and restrictions on sailing, Carnival Corp. is facing a potential PR disaster. The company says it was the victim of a ransomware attack that likely got some personal information about the cruise giant's passengers and employees. Carnival operates Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line and other lines, but the company didn't say in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission which brand was affected.
