An iconic team--Porsche and Star Wars—attempted to transcend co-branded advertising by creating a Porsche-inspired spaceship, complete with sloping design for the canopy like a sports car. Led by Doug Chiang (Executive Creative Director, Lucasfilm) and Michael Mauer (Head of Design, Porsche), designers from Porsche and Star Wars joined forces to create The Designer Alliance. It took six weeks to design and create a Porsche-inspired spaceship. Fan got a look into the design processes.
