Creative Media Awards Branded Entertainment: Original Film/Video, Life Below Water

To help raise awareness for UN’s Global Goal 14 (the threat to the oceans) among Millennials, Goodby Silverstein & Partners created a mix of short- and long-form documentary videos where plastic was introduced as a new species in the ocean. That was done to emphasizing the alarming projection that by 2050, there would be more plastics in the ocean than fish. The soothing voice of Morgan Freeman helped ease the Millennials suffering from eco-anxiety into the new reality about plastic.
