Walmart is partnering with a national pet insurer to offer savings for pet owners when filling their pet prescription medications at the retailer’s 4,700 pharmacies. The new service, Nationwide
Pet Rx Express, will offer saving a streamlined claims process. The company currently has 900,000 insured pets. In November, Walmart announced new pet sitting and dog walking services through Rover, a
website and app that provides access to pet caretakers.
