Hyundai Motor America is shifting its executives, naming Thomas Schemera as chief marketing officer and head of customer experience division. He takes over the role from Wonhong Cho to better align
marketing with new product launches. Schemera, who joined the company from BMW in 2018, was previously head of the product division. He held multiple positions at BMW in Germany and China, including
his role as vice president of sales, marketing and driving experience at BMW M from 2009 to 2014. Cho will now head Hyundai Motor’s new brand strategy support division.
