Dr Pepper and Popeye’s “Love That Game Giveaway” college football-themed sweepstakes, offering a grand prize worth over $15,000, pivoted off unique codes found on 32-ounce cup stickers. Each code allowed consumers, via Popeyes’ app, to earn online game plays, gain sweeps entries, and get a free small drink or fries. Nearly 200,00 codes were entered, more than 282,000 game plays occurred.
