Iconic luxury brand Dolce&Gabbana has named Havas Media Group its global media agency-of-record, following a review handled by Ebiquity Italy.
Billings were not disclosed, but the assignment is global and covers media strategy, planning, coordination and digital activation for more than 20 Dolce&Gabbana markets, including the U.S., Italy, Germany, Russia, Spain, the U.K. and the Middle East.
For he major European markets, Havas Media Group will service the business will be serviced out of a centralized team in Havas Media Group's Italy offices.
Dentsu International's Carat was the incumbent, with media planning and buying for the fragrances lines being handled by Shiseido and fashion brands handled in-house.
Havas Media Group beat out Mediacom in the final round of the review. Other agencies that pitched the business included Mindshare, OMD and Starcom.
