In this ad for Skechers via Siltenen & Partners, ex-Dallas Cowboys quarterback-turned broadcaster Tony Romo
demonstrates how big the cushioning feels in Sketchers Max Cushioning shoes by rendering himself a giant walking around city streets.
The size of a skyscraper, Romo elicits the attention of a
corgi and then talks to his wife. “Don’t I look taller, Candice?” he asks her -- rendered average human height in the ad. She then runs away.
“She’ll get used to
it,” he smiles. “Hey Babe, I can see our house from here!”
Candice Romo also co-starred in a previous Skechers ad
with Tony Romo that featured him (regular-sized) on a golf course.
This year, Skechers also ran a PSA parody ad featuring Willie Nelson making a plea to legalize Skechers.
