Outbrain Debuts Tool To Integrate All Of A Site's Revenue Activities

Recommendation platform Outbrain Inc. has unveiled a tool to help publishers create more tailored experiences for audiences.

The new offering, called Keystone, applies Outbrain’s AI technologies to integrate all revenue-generating facets of a publisher’s site. This includes subscriptions, ecommerce and any other business activity.

The goal is to help publishers “make the most of audiences’ digital experiences while preserving quality editorial content,” states Yaron Galai, co-founder and co-CEO of Outbrain.

Galai adds that publishers can rely on Keystone to support a more diversified revenue mix.

Keystone was unveiled this week at Outbrain’s “The Future of Media” summit.

“Providing a more tailored experience for readers by understanding their intent will create loyalty, ultimately driving repeat visits and increasing the value of a publisher’s business,” states Amit Elisha, general manager of Keystone and VP, products at Outbrain.

Keystone now has four design partners, including a large U.S. news publisher and a European financial publisher.

Publishers can deploy the platform regardless of whether they’re integrated with Outbrain’s content recommendation products, the firm says. Pricing is based on a SaaS model.

Outbrain claims its recommendation technology provided almost $745 million in direct payments to its media partners in 2021. The platform utilizes the firm’s AI conversion prediction-engine to create dynamic users segmentation, it says.
