Tindsley Named Head Of HearstX, Rebranded UK Unit

Hearst UK has named Art Tindsley as head of HearstX, its reimagined  experiential division, effective October 31, the company announced last week.

Tindsley will be tasked with driving revenue through physical and digital brand experiences, and with leveraging such trends as virtual reality and augmented reality, along with gaming and virtual influencers.

He will play “an integral role in finding new ways to engage our loyal audiences and trusted commercial partners on both existing and new platforms,” states Mark McCafferty, executive creative director for Hearst Solutions.

“As the line between consumers' physical and digital lives blur, we must adapt and create solutions that deliver world-class experiences to our customers, both in real life and digitally,” Tindlsey states.

Tindsley joins from Farfetch where he now is senior creative technologist, working on technical research and prototyping. He has also held senior positions in senior positions at Microsoft, AOL and Verizon.
