Disney Channel UK has launched an animated Christmas ad for the UK market that shows a young girl caring for her new sibling.

The ad, via Leo Burnett, London, is entitled “The Gift,” and opens with a mother kissing her kids goodnight. When the kids wake up, the girl taps her pregnant mother’s belly and the father pat’s his chest, as if to say “That’s me.”

Next, the girl is ice skating and is jealous that her mom’s attention is elsewhere. Then the family trims the tree and the girl drops the Olaf ornament from the tree and her brother catches it.

The girl is then sad, but buoyed by her brother’s gift of a Mickey Mouse doll. In the morning, the girl sees her new sibling and winds up giving her Mickey Mouse.

The ad is scored to “Quien Seimpre Busque” by Sofia Ellar.
