Josh Odom has been named president of Sinch AB’s
Developer & Business unit, effective January 1, 2023.
He replaces Will Conway, who is stepping down to pursue other opportunities. Conway will remain in a part-time strategic
advisory role.
Late last year, Sinch acquired Pathwire, an email delivery platform that includes the Mailgun, Mailjet and Email on Acid brands, for $1 billion, $925 million of it in
cash and $1 million shares. Conway had served as CEO of Pathwire.
“I would like to thank Will for his achievement in establishing Sinch as a leader in cloud-based email
provision,” says Johan Hedberg, interim CEO of Sinch.
Odom currently is CTO of the Developer & Email Business Unit. He joined Mailgun, in 2015 and was named CTO in 2017.
