passing of beloved industry figures: former Subway marketing guru Tony Pace; and USIM
President Russell Zingale.
Much of the other most-read stories were
about progressively weakening economic signals for the ad industry, and erosion of
time spent with ad-supported media, and P&G Chief Brand Officer Marc
Pritchard calling for an end of "general market" media targeting.
