Aterian Elevates Tim Stanton, Mihal Chaouat-Fix To C-Level Roles, Phil Lepper To SVP, Revenue

Ecommerce platform Aterian, Inc. has promoted three executives to high-level roles even as it has eliminated one C-level title.

The company has named Tim Stanton as chief ecommerce officer and Mihal Chaouat-Fix as chief supply-chain officer. In addition, it has promoted Phil Lepper to the post of senior vice president of revenue.

But it has eliminated the position of chief operating officer. Anton von Rueden, who held that post, will assist with the transition of responsibilities during the next few months.

Chaouat-Fix, who joined the company in 2014 has served as Aterian’s chief product officer since 2018. Chaouat-Fix’s role will now include oversight of all aspects of the Company’s supply chain.

Stanton, who came on board in 2017, most recently was vice president of marketplaces.

Lepper joined Aterian in June of 2021 and prior to this promotion served as vice president of revenue for the hOmeLabs and Vremi Brands. Lepper is is now responsible for brand strategy and management of Aterian's portfolio of brands.

“We believe these changes combined with the improved shipping-cost environment and our efforts to execute on our previously announced plan to liquidate higher cost inventory and protect market share allow us to remain on track to achieving Adjusted EBITDA profitability in the second half of 2023,” says Yaniv Sarig, CEO of Aterian.

In January, Aterian forecast that its Q4 net revenue will hit from $54.0 million to $55.0 million. And the company estimated that its full-year 2022 revenue will range from $220.0 million to $221.0 million, based on preliminary data.
