Podcast firm Podcastle has debuted a new text-to-speech feature called Revoice. 

The tool allows publishers to produce audio content by typing into a text document. It is now available to Podcastle users. 

The goal is to “help simplify audio production and make the creation process easier and less intimidating,” the firm states. 

Revoice automates repetitive but important content creation, including as advertising copy, episode intros and voiceovers. 

Users must record themselves reading 70 distinct sentences, along with a legal disclaimer. Podcastle’s AI-powered learning learning algorithm will then process and generate a digital copy of the voice within 24 hours, the firm says.
