Grey Global Group, the parent of MediaCom, Grey Worldwide, and Grey Interactive, Monday named long-time Madison Avenue communications exec Owen Dougherty chief communications officer, responsible for
developing and directing the agency group's communications strategy. Dougherty was chief communications officer at Havas' Euro RSCG Worldwide, where he worked with Jim Heekin, now chairman-CEO of Grey
Global Group. Grey is a unit of WPP Group.
