A slew of celebrities including Lindsay Lohan and Jake Paul wer
charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission in a case tied to promotion of crypto tokens created by Justin Sun.
"The stars were charged with touting cryptocurrencies associated with Sun’s companies “without disclosing that they were compensated for doing so and the amount of their
compensation," per the Hollywood Reporter. Most of the celebrities involved have agreed to pay a penalty of more than $400,000, without admitting or denying the
