Two top editors are out at The Wall Street Journal.  

“I am writing to share the news that Neal Lipschutz and Jason Anders will be leaving their positions as deputy editors in chief after many years of distinguished service to The Wall Street Journal,” tweeted Editor in Chief Emma Tucker.  

Tucker also tweeted, “a new deputy editor will be announced in due course.” 

Lipschutz served Dow Jones for 41 years, assuming the deputy editor’s title in 2019, according to the New York Times.  

Anders worked on the Journal for over 22 years, and was named deputy editor last year. 

Tucker became EIC of The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires, the first woman to hold that title, in February. She succeeded Matt Murray, who assumed a senior role at News Corp.
