Samsung Ads sometimes uses the tagline "where advertising goes next." Apparently, it's out-of-home. The company, which unveiled plans to expand into the digital out-of-home advertising marketplace
during its annual NewFronts presentation in May, has launched a new division and hired digital out-of-home veteran Chris Allison to run it.
Allison, who will serve as general manager of
digital out-of-home, joins from Vistar Media, where he was vice president of marketplace partnerships, where he struck programmatic digital out-of-home deals with Google, The Trade Desk, Yahoo and
others.
