Crackle Connex, the sales division of Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, has debuted new video advertising services for publishers built on integrations with
Amazon.
The firm has formed a streamlined integration path between Elemental MediaTailor from Amazon Web Services and Amazon Publisher
Direct.
In addition, the free-streaming service Crackle will support Amazon’s Interactive Video Ads, becoming what it claims is one of the first third-party
publishers to do so.
"Working with Amazon Publisher Direct gives us access to new capabilities and allows us to leverage its growing offerings to the video advertising
community," said Philippe Guelton, chief revenue officer of Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment.
In a related development, the company’s Redbox unit
plans to debut a standalone app on Fire TV later this year.
Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment is an ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) company. It
provides three AVOD streaming services: Redbox, Crackle, and Chicken Soup for the Soul.
