'The Washington Post' Links Subscriptions To Apple Podcasts

The Washington Post subscribers are being offered being offered the ability connect their subscription with Apple Podcasts, the Post announced in a story on Wednesday. 

“Now subscribers to The Washington Post can listen to our original podcasts ad-free,” says Renita Jablonski, director of audio at The Washington Post. “We also look forward to offering listeners exclusive series and other premium audio benefits on Apple Podcasts."

One perk for subscribers will be early access to the Post’s first international investigative podcast, “The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop,” hosted by Martine Powers, co-host of “Post Reports.” The series features new reporting on the involvement of the U.S. in a 40 year-old Cold War mystery on the island of Grenada.

In addition, subscribers will have access to the Post’s audio library.

Subscribers to via the App Store will have their subscriptions automatically connected when they open Apple Podcasts.
