Mark Kupferman Takes The CMO Helm At Chuck E. Cheese

CEC Entertainment, LLC., the parent company of Chuck E. Cheese, has hired Mark Kupferman as chief insights and marketing officer.

Kupferman will lead both the company’s flagship Chuck E. Cheese brand as well as its virtual kitchen brands including Pasqually's Pizza & Wings.

Based in Irving, Texas, Kupferman also has overall enterprise responsibility for all insights and research.

Kupferman is charged with leading all marketing functions, menu innovations, communications, digital marketing and consumer experience

Kupferman joins Chuck E. Cheese with more than 25 years of marketing strategy, media, advertising and brand experience. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Ruth's Chris Steak House until the company's acquisition by Darden Restaurants in June of this year.

Previously Kupferman spent over 10 years at Six Flags in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in various executive positions, ending as senior vice president, consumer and guest experiences. Before Six Flags, Kupferman worked for more than four years at Universal Orlando, leaving as senior director of consumer insights.

Kupferman’s “proven expertise and success across the restaurant and family entertainment business is a perfect complement with the most aggressive brand transformation in the company's history," said David McKillips, president and CEO of CEC Entertainment.

In addition to Kupferman, the company has also added Blake Johnson as senior director of brand marketing and Alejandra A. Brady as DEI leader.
