A Wendy’s Frosty a day for over a year with the purchase of a $3 keychain that benefits charity? Sounds good.
Beginning earlier this November, which is National Adoption Month, Wendy’s brought back its annual Frosty Key Tag fundraiser to support the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
Through Feb 14, customers can purchase a Frosty Key Tag for $3 With the purchase, in addition to the festive keychain, customers also receive one free Jr. Frosty with any purchase every day until the end of 2024. Ninety percent of the purchase price goes directly to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the nonprofit's commitment to helping find safe, permanent homes for the more than 113,000 children waiting in foster care. Wendy’s has stated that the chain does not benefit from the tag sales.

The tags can be purchased in store as well as in-app, and can be either a physical key tag or a digital one by storing it on the Wendy’s app. The tags can also be purchased through the Dave Thomas Foundation here.
The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a national nonprofit dedicated to finding permanent homes for children waiting in North America’s foster care systems, was created by Wendy’s founder (who himself was adopted). Wendy’s has raised more than $300 million over the past three decades for the nonprofit.
Thomas also led an initiative advocating for better adoption benefits in the workplace. The Adoption-Friendly Workplace program, which surveys employers across the United States, recognizes organizations with robust adoption benefits programs. Etsy, Hilton Grand Vacations and VMLY&R are a few of the companies that have made the list.
